FEATURES
The forager’s favourite: this mushroom knife features an 8 cm curved blade for easy cutting, a serrated back for scraping and cleaning stems, and a natural bristle brush at the end of the handle—perfect for brushing off earth and debris from your harvest
It carries the traditional OPINEL Yatagan blade, inspired by a Turkish sabre with a lifted tip. The blade has a convex profile unique to Opinel, ensuring strength and allowing for efficient sharpening
Equipped with the Virobloc safety ring, invented by Marcel Opinel, it securely locks the blade in both open and closed positions for safe use and transport
COMPOSITION
Blade: stainless steel of European origin, optimised to offer high corrosion resistance and excellent mechanical performance. Hardness: 55–57 HRC
Handle: beechwood sourced from sustainably managed French forests. Hard, durable and easy to work with, its light colour ranges from yellow to pink, often marked with visible darker streaks. The handle is varnished to resist stains and moisture
