BIOGRAFIA

Francisco Ibáñez (Barcelona, 1936-2023). Sens dubte, l'autor espanyol de còmic més reconegut nacional i internacionalment. El 20 de gener de 1958 apareix la primera historieta de Mortadel·lo i Filemó al número 1394 de la revista Pulgarcito, de l'editorial Bruguera. A partir d'aquí Ibáñez va crear les seves millors sèries i personatges: Mortadelo y Filemón, La familia Trapisonda, 13, Rue del Percebe, El botones Sacarino, Rompetechos i Pepe Gotera y Otilio

Els anys 1969, 1974, 1975 i 1976 va rebre el premi Aro de Oro als personatges infantils més populars de l'any per Mortadel·lo i Filemó. L'any 1994 va ser guardonat amb el Gran Premi del Saló del Còmic al conjunt de la seva obra, i el 2002 li va ser concedida la Medalla d'Or al Mèrit en les Belles Arts 2001
