BIOGRAFIA
Carles Porta (Vila-sana, Pla d'Urgell, 1963). És periodista, productor, director, guionista i escriptor. Es va iniciar al periodisme al diari Segre i el 1990 va entrar a TV3, on va ser reporter dels serveis informatius i de 30 Minuts.
El seu llibre Tor. Tretze cases i tres morts (2005) va ser un veritable fenomen, amb més de 60.000 exemplars venuts, i s'ha convertit en un llibre de referència del periodisme literari. És autor també de Fago. Si et diuen que el teu germà és un assassí (2012), que va rebre el premi Huertas Clavería; Li deien pare (2016), premi Godó de Reporterisme i Assaig Periodístic, i La farmacèutica: 492 dies segrestada (2021), entre altres llibres.
Amb una mirada i un estil propis que connecten amb lectors, oients i espectadors, Carles Porta ha assolit un èxit de públic sense precedents gràcies als seus pòdcasts innovadors i al programa Crims de Catalunya Ràdio i TV3, a més d'altres plataformes. L'any 2021 va ser guardonat amb el premi Ondas al Millor Programa de Ràdio i amb el Premi Nacional de Comunicació.
Els llibres 'Crims amb Carles Porta' recullen les millors històries reals narrades per l'autor: Tot el que llegireu és real (2020), Llum a la foscor (2022), La noia de Portbou (2022) —amb Anna Punsí i Marta Freixanet— i Pecats capitals (2023).
In 1896, the thirteen families of Tor registered in their name a mountain of 4,800 hectares, with a clause to preserve ownership: keeping the house open or, as the neighbours said, keeping the fire burning all year round. At that time, no one wanted to leave there, but over the years things changed: who would want to live in a hamlet without electricity, running water, or mobile phone coverage? After two deaths and years of legal battles, in 1995 a judge ruled that the mountain had a single owner: Sansa. Five months later, he was murdered.
Who killed Sansa? Carles Porta finally provides the witnesses and documentation that allow deliberation on this unsolved crime.
