MANTAS EZCARAY is the legacy of Cecilio Valgañón, who around 1930 transformed the production of fabric on his handlooms into the manufacture of handkerchiefs, scarves, shawls and blankets.
In 1950, the company incorporated Angora goat hair —Mohair— into its creations, marking its journey to the present day. The production of MANTAS EZCARAY is made by artisans who reproduce ancestral techniques, a trade that has been passed down from generation to generation. Their pieces are unmistakable and unique due to their lightness, warmth, and vivid &long-lasting color. A true delight.
