BIOGRAFIA
Laura Calçada (Barcelona, 1988). Periodista. Va llicenciar-se en Ciències Polítiques i de l’Administració a la UAB. Ha escrit per a diversos mitjans culturals i generalistes i també ha fet ràdio local. Durant uns quants anys va viure a Nova York, on va obtenir el màster de Periodisme Social per la Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. Els darrers quatre anys ha treballat en aquesta memoir que teniu a les mans
Fucking New York. Història dels meus límit is the memoir of a girl who flees to New York to find her place in the world. The city, imposing and raw, will exacerbate her own insecurities, and she will use it, as well as the homes she lives in and the people she encounters, to craft a narrative that constantly oscillates between extremes. The panic will subside four years later when the woman finally takes responsibility for her actions and understands love.
