BIOGRAFIA

Tània Balló (Barcelona, 1977). Autora de diversos llibres: Las Sinsombrero (2016), Querido Diario: hoy ha empezado la guerra (coescrit amb Gonzalo Berger, 2017) i Ocultas e impecables (2018). Compta també amb una dilatada trajectòria com a productora i directora de cinema i televisió.


Gonzalo Berger (Barcelona, 1977). Doctor en Història i docent universitari. Autor de diversos llibres i treballs d'investigació, compta també amb una àmplia experiència en gestió cultural, vinculada a la producció de documentals, exposicions i espais de memòria. Actualment és coordinador dels projectes de recerca Dones en Guerra i Espais de la Batalla de Mallorca.

Their dedication and participation as combatants in the fight against fascism were crucial to the military strategy of the Republican side. However, as the war progressed, their organizations relegated them to tasks in the rear, even discrediting their status as militia women. Ultimately, history forgot them. But who were these combatants? On what fronts did they fight? How did the withdrawal of women from the front occur? What did they do until the defeat of '39? What was their final destiny? Research to reconstruct their biographies and thus recover the fundamental role they played in historical events will be the guiding thread to explain the events from a gender perspective.
