Designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, the Bark collection —English peel— was launched in 2015 by ALESSI. Its designers drew inspiration from their home, the Boucquillon House, a place for experimentation, meditation and work where people live in harmony with nature. The patterns and delicate materials used in the Bark series evoke the bark covering the trees around the house. The result? A wonderfully poetic collection in which each object has a form or function that helps create a continuous, harmonious dialogue with nature.
