BIOGRAFIA

Regina Rodríguez Sirvent (Puigcerdà, 1983). es va graduar en Psicologia, però després de treballar-hi durant un any va veure que no. Va marxar a viure fora per buscar-se. A la tornada va estudiar guió de cinema a l'Escac i va fer cursos de novel·la a l'Ateneu Barcelonès. Ha publicat articles, ha escrit guions de programes i ha presentat reportatges de vídeo

A diferència de la majoria dels escriptors que comencen, no havia guanyat cap jocs

florals ni cap concurs literari quan va publicar Les calces al sol, la seva primera novel·la. Un any més tard, però, i després de l'èxit de la novel·la, amb més de 30.000 lectors, va guanyar el premi de votació popular L'Illa dels Llibres

Rita Racons heads to the United States to work as an au pair without fully knowing it. One fine day, she finds herself at Barcelona airport ready to catch a flight that, theoretically, should take her to New York, where she will learn English during the summer.
